"The Lincoln Lawyer” Netflix Series Has Fans Talking Again

The Lincoln Lawyer is so captivating that no one can get enough of it! When Manuel Garcia-Rulfo took up the part of Mickey Haller in the streaming series based on Michael Connelly's series of books, the world was introduced to a new Mickey Haller in May of 2022 on Netflix. The series was adapted from Connelly's writings. Now, we're holding out hope that The Lincoln Lawyer will return for a third season.

Will There Be a Season 3?

Netflix has not yet renewed or canceled the series as of August 2023, which means that a third season of The Lincoln Lawyer might still be produced. Given that the first season of the show was such a huge success and that the second season hasn't left the Top 10 since its first part was released in July, the possibility of the streaming service canceling the show comes as a complete surprise to us.

Spoilers from Season 2

After the conclusion of Lisa's investigation into Mitchell Bondurant's murder and in the waning minutes of the second season, Mickey has a meeting with Julian Lacosse, a new client who is incarcerated. He is being investigated for the murder of his close friend Giselle Dallinger. 

Mickey is devastated to learn that the deceased person is Gloria Dayton, also known as Glory Days when he correctly identifies the body of the person who passed away. The alleged murder that occurred during Glory Days serves as a cliffhanger for the conclusion of the second season. Mickey is personally involved in this case.

After leaving us on such a suspenseful note at the end of the second season, it is abundantly clear that we require a third season of the critically acclaimed series more than ever. When Netflix makes an announcement on what will happen to The Lincoln Lawyer after season 2, we will update this page with everything we know about Mickey's future in the show. Hold out the hope that you'll soon hear some encouraging news.

Does Neve Campbell Leave the Show?

Since Maggie was killed off in the mid season premiere of The Lincoln Lawyer season 2, viewers are becoming increasingly concerned about Neve Campbell's continued involvement with the program. However, should we really be worried about this?

Neve Campbell's role on The Lincoln Lawyer was downgraded from that of a series regular to that of a recurring just before the beginning of filming for the second season of the program. This came about as a direct result of Campbell booking a new program at ABC that was currently in the process of being developed. ABC did not pick up that show so there is still hope for fans of Lincoln Lawyer as Campbell may return if the show goes on to the next season.
