American actor Tyler Williams has been on our screens for over a decade. Entering the television industry as a child actor, Williams quickly rose to fame through several roles he played over the years. While Williams has been nominated as well as picked for several awards during his career, the recent Golden Globes win has certainly been the highlight of them all. While Williams has made several appearances on Saturday Night Live and Sesame Street, it is his role as a supporting actor in Abbott Elementary that bagged him the win. Let’s dive into some of the major movies he was featured in during his career:
Abbott Elementary
Abbott Elementary is an American TV show that features the lives of passionate teachers and a tone-deaf principal who are dedicated to ensuring the success of their students. Williams plays the role of Gregory Eddie who is a first grade teacher and among one of the supporting roles of the show. While Williams had several great movies under his belt, it was this show that finally bagged him a Golden Globe.
Everybody Hates Chris
Everybody Hates Chris is an American sitcom that is based on a true story. It revolves around the life of Chris who lives with his parents and siblings. While his parents are at work, Chris is responsible for watching over the house and his siblings. However, his siblings are determined to make sure that Chris has a hard time doing so.
The Walking Dead
And who can forget, in my opinion, one of the greatest TV shows of all time, The Walking Dead. While this show did get quite unpredictable and questionable in the end, it certainly made for good TV for the many years that it ran. While his role in the movie was short-lived, he certainly went out with a bang after playing an unforgettable character, Noah.
Unaccompanied Minors
And who can forget one of the very first hit shows featuring Williams, unaccompanied minors. Williams plays the role of Charlie Goldfinch who is the main protagonist of the film. It revolves around a couple of unaccompanied minors who find themselves stranded at an airport. This was certainly one of the movies that paved the way for Williams to go far in the industry.
